Day 5 - Don't Become Prideful About Anything God Has Entrusted To You
"You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth." (Deuteronomy 8:17-18)
While Proverbs teaches us "pride precedes a fall," life confronts us with this sobering truth when we place too much confidence in our own abilities or possessions. Humility, on the otherhand, acknowledges the source of all we have and all we can do as being from God. My power and strength comes from the Lord!
